Extreme couponing

@bigsoos
oh okay. But they had one lady buy like 30 bottles of soda, 40 cans of pasta sauce, etc. and it was all her’s. Now, at least she rotates everything so that she doesn’t have an abundance of spoiled items. Also, I think she only goes shopping once every 3 months, but seriously, who needs 30 bottles of soda?

@jreily88 I have to agree. If it’s just you the only reason to buy that many items would be to donate to a food bank. I think that guy is hoarding.

@dave997 Actually there are A LOT of coupons for healthy food items. If you are brand, or type specific then you can use the money you save on personal and household items to pay for the more expensive health food items.

@jreily88 That guy was going to donate a lot of that stuff I think.

I saw one guy(lives alone) buy $5,000 worth of groceries for $241. $4,000 of that was bought on 1100 boxes of cereal which he was giving to food banks. But the other stuff that included 300 toothbrushes, and about 100 sticks of deodorant were all his. Now, I can understand stockpiling on some things to save a trip to the store, but do you need that much? Also, people need to learn that there are some items you should never buy in bulk, if there is not enough people to use them.

@dave997 If you only knew! I’ve been super couponing for the last year and I have saved hundreds! I don’t buy toothpaste anymore unless it’s a moneymaker (just free isn’t worth my time) There are coupons out there for healthy food, coupons for diapers, health care and beauty products and so much more. You just don’t want to take the time to figure it out, so you’d rather criticize couponers for buying unhealthy food? So continue wasting your money Dave, and I’ll be healthy with a fattie wallet!

if you love living off disgusting chemically made corporate factory food then extreme couponing is great for you. There arent any coupons for fresh meat, vegetables, or fruit for the most part. Thats all i eat and i look 1000x healthier than coupon fatties
